Div 1 champions in S55 so expectations are high for season 56.
Expecting FRA, MOT, HEA & CLY to fight for top 4. STJ may slot in middle table in S56 I guess.

SEASON 53: Feb 2023
Cecil cup in trophy room as we start S53.
This after winning the sesl cup and Div 2 in S51. So what is next for STJ in S53?
4th place finish in S52 needs be improved upon.
Had gone 10 seasons since winning anything and then 2 trophies come along at once!
STJ fans had to deal with a shameful relegation to Div 2 for season 51.
Glad to leave behind the giants of Rangers and Hearts in Div 1, and Div 2 was fun in S51.
SESL cup runners up the last 2 seasons been frustrating. But won cup in S51.
STJ squad in Sep 22 has decent age 3 & 4 players to compete well, but starting to show their age a little now.
Need to bring in 2 apprentices from auction this season to keep competitive longer term.
These high SL oldies are decent players but aint gonna last much longer.
STJ are in good shape with 2 capable GK's at last, top 4 in Div 1 realistic.
Cup finals in seasons 49 & 50 gives hope to the future, and SESL cup final won in S51

Real Life Saint Johnstone

St Johnstone Football Club derives its name from Saint John's Toun (town) which was the ancient name for the City of Perth and was founded by a group of young men from the cricket team of the same name who were looking for a winter pastime. Although these men undoubtedly kicked a football around in the autumn of 1884 and the date of the club's formation was - and still is - given as being in that year, subsequent research has revealed that in fact the meeting to officially start a club came on Tuesday 24th February 1885 and the first match played by St Johnstone FC came a few weeks later on 7th March 1885 when Caledonian Railway were defeated 1-0. However, given the clear indication that the St Johnstone Cricket Club members played football prior to the official formation of the club, 1884 continues to be shown as the year of formation on the club crest and on merchandising.
STJ won the Leagup Cup and Scottish Cup in 2021. real-life celtic won nothing for a change!
SEASON 56 update: March 2024
Hosted these game since 2014 and delighted SESL, Sanc & Oasl are still going strong in year 2024.
November 2023 changed jobs and hoping retirement just a handful of years away now.
Covid lockdowns behind us now but I still get to work from home 3 days of the week.
Socially distancing me from my fridge still the plan for 2024 as I snack all day long.
Too easy to crack open a few cans of Stella most evenings knowing I not driving to work next day.
Biggest sporting achievement was running London Marathon 26 miles for Autism charity on 28th April 2019 in 5 hours.
Foolishly, I ran London Marathon again October 2021 and clocked in under 5 hours, so I really ought retire as that is as good as it'll get for me.
Loch Ness marathon done in October 2022, so I still researching a 2023 challenge.

Kevin Hull - It's been a while, but i'm back!
After succesful spells with Airdrie United (whose shirt i still have!) then a brief spell at Queens Park, life got on top of me and i needed to take some time out from the game. But now the kids have grown up, i felt it was the right time to make a return!
In my absence both my children have grown up to 10 and 6 years old, and in that time i have been actively working on my coaching badges in youth football. I currently run County Park Hawks FC u10 in the beautiful county of Essex, who can be found here www.countyparkfc.co.uk, and i hold my FA Level 2 Badge as well as my FA Level 2 Youth Module Badge. I am also on the committee of the league that me team plays in, the Echo Junior Football League (https://www.ourkidssports.com/Leagues/profile/id/13), which spans both Essex and London. I care for the u8s which consists of 94 teams! So time is still quite precious!
Glad to be at St Johnstone. However they are a very strong side and success is demanded from both the board and fans, so i definitely have my work cut out!
SEASON 34 UPDATE: Love being back in the game! A slow start to my first full season back but a fantastic run at the tail end of the season put a smile on my face! Have now also joined the-manager as the OLMEC bug starts to set in once again. This time i'll not take on too many leagues and concentrate on the two!

Played SESL seasons 9-19 at Airdrie starting with a Div 3 title in season 10, and ending with the wooden spoon last place in season 19!
