Season 57
S56 Recap: Like every season under my control, pre-season strategy out the window the moment a nice opportunaty comes along. Barely two weeks after putting the plans in writing Alloa Athletic approached us with some interesting proposals. We ended up selling our Bosman signing and training up a young goalkeeper for Steve. This gave us a ton of money to invest elsewhere, so we did. We invested in youth, which shows as now we have the 2nd youngest team in div.3

T11 21.8 (13th) T17 18.6 (7th) TSL 351 (6th) Age 3.35 (2nd)
This very young squad will have to focus on the 2nd half of the season. Our T11 right now is nothing impressive, but the T17 shows that there's a lot of potential. We need time to train, while we wait until our competition suffer greatly from MSA. Until then, we will try to score some points or even steal a win against the occasionally resting squad to not get too far behind. Interesting season once again.

The real Deveronvale were formed in 1938 and their first league campaign only lasted three games into the 1939-40 season before, as their official site says, war stopped play. Currently Deveronvale are in the Highland League, along with Huntly, Nairn County, Buckie Thistle and Fraserburgh and from which there is now possible promotion.
Update Season 57
Glad the euros are over again. I don't know why I always look forward to this so much and every time end up being disappointent by the terrible performances of so many teams. The best team won, and in my opinion the only one that performed close to what you expect. England, which I noted as one of the 3 favourites let me down so hard. What a terrible performance by so many great players. Saka, Kane, Bellingham...I did not see much of them.
Holland then, always a contender according to foreign press. The Dutch press never believed in it. No star players, no high potentials, some names that you would normally giggle at (I mean, Weghorst). Yet, the team performed as a team and regardless of some poor performances all in all I think we overperformed. Should have been us in the final actually, but let's not open that can of bad ref worms again, shall we.
