Season 56
S55 Recap: First season of the rebuild. We had zero expectations regarding the league or cups. One goal, avoid Wooden Spoon. We finished 13th, no wooden spoon. In the meantime we trained up an appr. goalie and shaped two young wingers and a forward that will be our star players in the seasons ahead.
WINS: 10
DRAWS: 8

S56 Preview:
T11 21.5 (10th) T17 17.5 (13th) TSL 311 (14th) Age 4.30 (15th)
Looking ahead it's clear that we are not favourites for a top 8 finish, and although it's no demand, it will be our goal. Last season we avoided the wooden spoon and this year we aim for a bit more. The real goal is to build a competitive team to challange for the title in S57, so this season will be about auction/trade impulse-control and focus on the right things.....training up youngsters, bring down the average age and build a bit of a budget so we can have a nice influx of resources next season!

The real Deveronvale were formed in 1938 and their first league campaign only lasted three games into the 1939-40 season before, as their official site says, war stopped play. Currently Deveronvale are in the Highland League, along with Huntly, Nairn County, Buckie Thistle and Fraserburgh and from which there is now possible promotion.
Update Season 56
Some might know I am a big Ajax fan, and boy....is it a shitty time to be alive right now :( Barely 18 months ago everyone was saying that Ajax will become the Bayern Munich of Holland, but how one scandal (the dickpick from Marc Overmars) can change literally everything. The entire club tumbled down after Overmars' departure. In seasons like this you learn to appreciate the little things.....17y/o Central Defender Jorrel Hato and 22 y/o Centre Forward Brian Brobbey (Lukaku Light). What a talents. And, ofcourse, the upset Ajax caused by signing former Liverpool teamcaptain Jordan Henderson. What a wonderful player that is. I've always had a thing for undervalued defensive midfielders, happy to see him play in Amsterdam every weekend!
