Season 60
S59 Recap: Exactly as expected. Predicted to finish 5th and we ended up as 5th. The final playoff game against Clyde went well, so here we are, div 1 once again. Not much to say about the cups, early exits in both. Excellent performance on the sponsorship deal though, much welcomed finding for the season ahead.

Enough work to do. First half of the season we need to gather enough points to avoid automatic relegation and invest in youth to save our aging squad. The team is perfectly balanced, which is seconded by a slightly higher T17. Every position is covered without much SL loss. Training youngsters could become tricky because of the SL difference, but we need to take the leap. Hopefully a few additional cup games for extra training slots!

The real Deveronvale were formed in 1938 and their first league campaign only lasted three games into the 1939-40 season before, as their official site says, war stopped play. Currently Deveronvale are in the Highland League, along with Huntly, Nairn County, Buckie Thistle and Fraserburgh and from which there is now possible promotion.
Update Season 60
"As you all know I'm an Ajax fan" That's how I started my bio last season. I'm still an Ajax fan, but it's not nearly as much fun as it used to be. What a terrible display in the first few games this season. Last Tuesday we got spanked by Marseille, but ironically enough, it was one of the best games we played so far. Says it all. Transfer policy is eyebrow raising at least. Let's buy a left winger for millions and let the other 4 left wingers go to waist. Maybe one of those could play a bit as right winger? Damn. You sell Hato to Chelsea, a left back, and you go buy a T11 central defender despite the fact that your biggest talent plays on that position...and let's just ignore the left back position altogether, shall we? You sell powerhouse Brobbey and fill the position with light weight Dolberg. Come on! A long season ahead, once again!
