**Season 61 Update**
Season 60 Review
We finished 10th of 16 in Division 2 with our worst GD in a long long time of -18. We just seem to build, through lack of cash to get enough CP's TP's and we always end up with a load of players bolstering the team in the middle single digits. We did manage to get a goalscorer in double figures in Curtis Main on 10 League goals. We won12 and drew 3 giving a total of 15 unbeaten against 15 losses which is not bad with a backup keep was was just over 10SL. So playing with that GK in the second half of last season after MSA was particularly tough.
Season 61 Preview
We will try to see what happens to our team now we are back in Division 3.
Our new Bosman is a 1/14 DM - Stuart Bannigan. We need to bolster the DF and MF as we are poor in both areas.
Transfers - Nil - no cash no players
Squad Details
A squad of 20 players with 7 pensioners (Albinson SL5, Musonda SL2, McHugh SL6, Chalmers SL2, Syla SL5, Sludden SL1 and Loudon SL2) still in the squad. I doubt whether they will get 1 min of playing time. Although may end up with some to rest the other players.
Goalkeepers - Josh Clarke is now No.1 with Albinson as backup. As a SL5 as soon as we have cash an apprentice GK will be purchased.
Defenders - 5 decent DF's this season. Holt (23), Watret (21), Stanger (21), McMann (21), Sanders (12). Gives us some scope to rotate but not much.
DM's - 3 DM's - Bannigan (14), McHugh (6) and Chalmers (2). Pretty much McHugh and Chalmers are there to clean the boots.
Midfielders - 3 MF's Rus (24) - Murphy (23) and Syla (5) to pick from. Like some of our DF's, Syla is there to make up the numbers.
MA's - Jay Henderson (23) who will be used mostly to cover in MF this season with the odd FW position to rest the attackers.
WG - Sludden (1) is our only WG. Why the cart to abbatoir never came last season is anyone's guess. Must have pics of the manager.
Forwards - Main (23), Dalglish (23) and Oakley (16). Loudon is there waiting for the same abbatoir cart as some of those above.
Captain - FW Kenny Dalglish hopefully will pick up a couple of bonus points.
Apprentices
We will be looking to get 3 appentices in this season including a GK, DF and MF to utlise 30 of the 46 TP's and 10 on the Bosman. Leaving a surplus to try to build on those players in Season 62.
Expectations
To get higher than last season's 10th place.
We start with 40CP and 46TP's.
If we can finish in the top 10 it will be a miracle based on the stats below.
Starting T-11 - 22.0 (9th out of 16) up from 21.2 and 11th last season
Starting T-17 - 16.9 (14th out of 16) down from 17.5 and 10th last season
Our overall starting SL is 29 which is 16th out of 16. Down from 305 SL and 14th last season. Which is so poor.

Season 61 Update
Scott Brown is still Ayr's manager and the new training facility including an 11 aside astro pitch plus seating is near completion. How Somerset has changed in just a few short years thanks to chairman David Smith.
Still managing KaisAyr, Ayr United's supporters team. Although with the end of the Scottish IFA we are now going into a Over 35's league to keep the team together. The good thing is that the majority of those players have been with us throughout this journey.
I am also still managing Chivas and Carson City Kickers on OASL.
