**Season 51 Update**
Season 50 Review
We somehow managed to get promoted. Finishing a frantic end of the season in 4th place. There was anyone of 5 or 6 teams in it right to the end. But we stayed in it to finish in that 4th place
Our scoring was improved for a second season in a row although we did allow more goals against us.
Goals For 41 (35) + 6
Gols Against 35 (29) +6
W 15 D 6 L 9
Guy Melamed was our top scorer for a second season in a row a total of 29 goals, 20 in the league. A great return from our normal paltry goals for record He also got 11 MOTM . I am sure he was top goal scorer for division 3.
Season 51 Preview
Only the Bosman is added to our squad this season. 1/11 DM Kerr McInroy An apprentice will also be added as soon as possible. Our squad is wafer thin again. A couple of injuries and we are really struggling.
Squad Details
Goalkeepers - 2/23 McAdams is now number 1 with Doohan 5/18 as the backup.
Defenders - 4 DF's with Baird 5/11 as the filler Chalmers and the new Bosman DM hoping to secure a decent gols against for the coming season.
DM's - Although we have 4 only Chalmers and McInroy will be used. Kerr and McGuffie will be retired part way through the season.
Midfielders - 3 again this season. A new apprentice will be brought in to assist this area.
MA's - Absolutely zero MA this season. Apprentice hopefully.
Forwards - Smith and Melamed with Moffat as backup again for the second season in a row.
Captain - GK Doohan is the skipper with limited starts in a higher division I don't see many additional captains bonuses heading his way.
Expectations
Not too many to be fair. Small low skilled squad. Hopefully some teams will play weakened teams against us to rest their better players against the better teams. That will be our best chance.
Season 51 Update
As the restrictions ease We have started playing more football with KaisAyr. Just yesterday 30 April we were playing at Somerset Park and won 4-3.
Looking forward to the new season with changing facilities
I still manage Chivas and Carson City Kickers on OASL.
