HIB are rivals to 2 teams.
Season 62: Could do with a stonking forward - and a couple of decent younger defenders.

SEASON 61 Review
Started the season fairly poorly and it looked like a run of the mill time for us. But between finishing our training up the young lads it transpired we had a decent squad and we started climbing the table.
Before we knew it we were in the dreaded playoff zones for promotion, and the teams round about us started to lose games - meaning we shot up to 3rd, and on the final weekend we ended 2nd with an automatic promotion. If I had looked up earlier we might well have won the division, although that was not the preference. Everybody knows we love the 2nd division - so many new teams coming in each season and more to play for.
We still didn't cut it in the cups. Lost in the 2nd round of the CECIL Cup with a 3 wins and a loss record, and although qualifying for the KO stages of the SESL Cup, we went out in the last 16, preferring to save ELs for the league games - a tactic we often use in the Cups.
SEASON 62 Preview
We start with a reasonable squad although an aging one. We need some young blood but the top division is very hard on clubs who start youngsters. The plan is to enjoy the season - they aren't long ones and if we can train up a couple of younger lads we don't mind a relegation. I would find it a bit boring trying to keep between places 10 and above if there was no hope of winning the championship - so it is a no lose season for me. Cups we will see who we play and make decisions as we go.

Season 62 Update: Still aiming to reach my 4 score on Hogmanay. Still keeping active by running all my bowling club competitions and remaining Secretary of the local Social Club. Bottom line is my brains are all in the head - not in the hands - you don't want me to do painting or change a fuse.. :-)
Health is the problem and once we get back from our cruise round France I will be on track for a hip replacement around late July/August. Get my last (for now) hormone injection on 15th July and then a break till January for the results..
My grandson Adam has just (yesterday) passed his driving test (like me, he is still 17 and got it 1st time) - and my daughter has turned her life around with a nuitrition club. Inside 6 months she has lost over 4 and a quarter stones and now has a happier more active life. Her dog Gino is progressing well, and will be 2 in the autumn..
I have moved a couple of my games and even play a speedway game by PBM, and continue to read historical fiction, play poker, snooker at my local club (I bought them the balls - pool is the poor man's snooker :-)) and I still have not had the health to get to Warrington to see a long lost sister inlaw, who was one of my bridesmaid when I married my late wife.
