LIV are rivals to 0 teams.
Season 60 shows ageing GK & WG, so that is main need in 2025. Manager also needs beer

Real-life Livingston only came in to existance in 1995.
Formerly Meadowbank Thistle, the team moved out of Edinburgh to West Lothian and re-named as Livinston FC. The team rose thru the 4 Scottish divisions quickly and by 2001 reached the SPL (Scottish Premier League).
3rd place in SPL was secured in their 1st season "at the top".
2004 was the first major silverware for real-life 'Livi' winning the CIS League Cup with a 2-0 win over rivals Hibs.
However much of 2004 and 2005 was spent with the club in financial crisis and 'in administration'. The 'Lionheart consortium' bought over the club, and rebuilding the entire set up began again.

SESL LIV
not LIV golf, but Livingstone ofcourse.
Start of season 60 in Sept 2025.
a late flourish so LIV avoided relegation by a whisker.
For second year running the cups returned most joy with a runner up spot in Sesl cup final Sep 2025.
Top 8 in both cups in last two seasons is pleasing.
Time to concentrate on league progress now.
Start of season 59 in May 2025.
a glance back shows a 6th place finish in Div 1 in S58>
whle in season 57 saw Div2 ended 1st. Champions. Again.
Nice to get a trophy cabinet update. Again.
Season 59 may focus on both cups as league points could be hard to gather as top division strong. Again.
last 16 in both cups the norm last few seasons, so same again in season 59 please.

Season 56 - relegated out of Div 1.
Sesl cup last 16.
Can't say anything else positive.
Season 55 - Div2, ended 1st. Champions.
Nice to get a trophy cabinet update.
Trophy Cabinet pretty scarce for 55 seasons of play.
Trophy Cabinet as at March 2024
Division 2 Winner: 2 (1 55)
Division 2 Runnerup: 2 (32 47)
SESL CUP Winner: 1 (19)
Hee-haw progress in the Cups again.

Season 54 - Div3, ended 5th - 12th best Top-11 so things aren't going to be much easier this season.
Top 6 play off place maybe achieveable
Squad bloated, so will need retire a handful.
Age 0 apprentice GK on the radar.
The scouts have been primed.
Not Baden-Powell scouts, and not Bear Grylls scouts.
Div 1 the aim now by season 57.
We march.
Start of season 60 in Sept 2025.
Season 60 - squad OK. Not too bloated, so may need glance at auctions.
Five age 1 start season 60 which is not ideal with TP becoming harder to come by in Sesl lately.
1/18, 2 x 1/19 and 2 x 1/20. May need sell one to allow an age 0 or two to be brought in, otherwise there be no one to TP the following season.
Need balance squad a little.
Just two age 2 are woth CP'ing, a SW and a MF.
So trading CP away for TP may be the short term plan.

Season 59 - May 2025
After being back to top table after winning Div 2 in S57 (2nd time in last 3 seasons)
but season 58 was consolidation in Div 1.
Age 0 apprentice GK brought thru in season 57.
For season 59 maybe a top FW is needed.
WG on the radar too.
The scouts have been primed.
Not Baden-Powell scouts, and not Bear Grylls scouts.
Stay in Div 1 the aim now for season 59.
Time to make a dent in the cups though.

Season 55 November 2023
Sneaked promotion via the play-offs and so season 55 starts in Div 2.
Sesl cup semi final spot in S54 also.
It's is 35 (thirty five) seasons since LIV won anything in SESL!
Season 55 starts with a strong forward attacking lineup, but an aging squad that is a slight concern.
WIll be looking at the auctions to bring in squad bolsters.

I'm back for season 54. John McCarthy takes the hotseat at LIV.
Ex-Annan manager in SESL way back in season 20.
What have I missed!?
LIV seem to have been under performing in recent seasons.
Hope can turn the tide for the west lothian fans to have something to shout about in Sesl-land.

Adrian Nicholas - Previously I was manager of Bellshill (now renamed to Deveronvale) from season 3 to season 9. During this time the team was dragged up from the foot of Division 3 to win three back-to-back Division 1 Championships.
Now I'm back at the helm of Livingston again after a season off, hope to climb back into Division 1 again soon.
Things are a bit tougher these days, due to better quality opponents, so it could be a long time (if ever) before I win another title!
Nice to see I'm the 3rd Most Successful Manager in SESL History, hard to believe that now eh?
Season 53: Definately a season too early for Division 2 and back down in Division 3 again, decent crop of age 1 players but a bit weak in the GK department, hopefully our FW/WG line can compensate.
It feels like SESL is becoming a bit unbalanced with a few top teams fighting it out for all Divison 1 and the Cups with the rest of the teams making up the numbers. Not really sure what the solution is but it's less fun than it used to be.
Real life: Heaviest I have ever been, time to get training!
