Season 60 - update
Season 60 sees me entering my unlucky 13th season as Killie boss and in that time we have gone from top to bottom and halfway back. Last season saw us back in division 2 after a spell in the bottom division. A slow start to the season saw us hovering around the playoffs for most of the season before a good spell of form to end the season saw us finish comfortably midtable.
We will be looking to consolidate again in season 60 with promotion playoffs in our sights but possibly a little out of reach. We will concentrate on developing the squad we have, and training some youngsters.
Up front we are strong with JR Smith leading the line. JR is now the clubs 2nd all time top scorer and will surely hit the top this season. Jurgen Goallenson has developed nicely and will probably become our top striker as he continues to improve, while youngster Eddie Morrison had a solid first season and will improve further. Brad Lyons at DM will be a vital part of the defence, aided by Donnelly and Deas, while young Alston in midfield is set for a big season as he looks to fulfil his potential.
We need to consider adding a young goalkeeper this season and strengthening in defence and midfield would be nice as well. The squad is on the old side as well so some new young recruits would help immensely in this regard
Good luck everybody

Season 60 update
The last time I updated this bio I was just waiting for a start date for a new job - and today I have been in that job for around 3.5 years, having just this very week started training for a new role (which looks very complicated so far!). Kirsti remains settled in her job and we are considering a house move in the next year or two so the dreaded clearing out of the loft may well loom large in the coming months.
In real life Killie have been relegated and then promoted again in the past few seasons and we hope for a solid season, ideally culminating in European qualification under our new boss, Stuart Kettlewell. Our county rivals Ayr continue to languish behind us as always :)
