START OF SEASON 58 UPDATE
Promotion!! A classic season of buying one critical player (New Captain Crewe) that swung the odds in SRAs favour. 4th place and finally (after 5 seasons) the Blues return to the top. The team looks in great shape but a few of the older legs will have to be chopped as they will not keep up the pace in Division One. Three new apprentices are required during the season particularly in midfield. Mondo Polestar (FW 1/21) will really start to show his true potential as will Ser Richer Shakest (MA 1/20). At the back Plunder Glench (3/29) will be the rock that SRA are perrched upon. Lets get this season started and aim is to stay out of relegation trouble from the start. A good cup run is also required!
SEASON 58 UPDATE
26-Oct-2011: Andrew replaces Arnold as SRA boss.
Promoted from Olmec training league ODFL, Andrew is ready to build up the club. Just like his Great-grandfather did in real-life back in 1904 when he founded Carlisle United (how cool is that!) and helped build them up to where they sit now in League Two.
Andrew McCumiskey, surely well over 59 years old, is still seen often see around Solihull taking photos and still trying to run. His other lost loves are for Carlisle United (who are rock bottom of League Two!) and Aston Villa (back where they belong in Europe)! Their rise is clearly a sign for the rise of SRA. Will their success continue in the same vain as the Blues? Took over SRA mid season 27 when rock bottom of Div 3 and led them to 4th place in the league in season 42! Then the legendary season 47 double cups filled the club with joy, pride and far too much Whisky. Is a solid believer in the sweeper system and prefers to build a young squad rather buy in players. In his spare time he runs and plays with his 33yo, 28yo, 10yo and 7 year old sons and plays league chess when at home. Has been 'playing IT' since 12 years old. Speaks fluent German and a smattering of Japanese learnt from his sons (see above). SRA are trying to get back where they belong in Division One and aim for a Cup run despite not being loaded like the other clubs!
