All teams get free TP but have the option to buy more.

So you can use TP in the normal way to train up your age 0-1 players and then you can also use up to 10 TP per season for other additional benefits.

1) Player name change - free (dependent upon the assistant commisioner's time to make changes)

2) Transfer TP into CP ( This means you can still have 60 CP but the last 10 will cost you 800k or cash and your TP max will suffer). This is converted one TP/CP per session.

3) Using TP for EL gain +6EL

4) Change Captain (once per season)

5) Change player position costs 2 TP and remains at one change per season. (cannot be used to upgrade to a MPP)

6) Redraft player - In Pre-season one player can be re-drafted for 3 TP. The drafted player will be deleted and replaced by another player +1SL. 

Using TP for OTF has finished - OTF can only be increased using 2 CP as normal.

HISTORY

United was  a postal football game invented by Alan Parr and developed by Al Sellers into a game played on the internet.
Al created  MSWL (make sure wayne league) and a Web page which just listed League tables , General information ,Rules etc.
There was a link to Zip files , where you could get  your squad and match reports/fixtures.
You listed your match orders  on a notepad file (orders explained in rules) . You then Zipped up your orders and sent  zip file to Al . When matches were played  results were avialable in zip file which you got from the web page.

Al then made the Match Engine available to other people who wanted to set up their own leagues , and this was done by several people , including Mark Creasey  (SESL) and Mike Morton ( SFLSL) , and they ran their leagues using the same methods as MSWL. During this period  the new Commish added some features to the game  such as Bosman, Max SL , Weather, Real ages , Yth League.
After approx 2 years Al announced he would host a Web Site (what you see today)  but would only permit 1 extra new feature in each League... and the web site was created ..at this time Dave Dowson joined ... and a while later Adam Meney .moving on a few yrs later Al announced that he could no longer host all these leagues and gave each league 6 months to sort out their own host.

Mark got Graham McDermott to organise this and he created our own web site for SESL/SFLSL/OASL/Manager .
This did not last long and we ended up with a server in Dave's house  , but again after several seasons it was decided to use a professional server  and Mark sourced an internet server (which we have today)
