REAL-LIFE : Formed in 1929 formerly known as Dingwall Victor's Ross County Football Club are a Scottish professional football team.
They play their home matches in the North of Scotland at Victoria Park in the Highland town of Dingwall, Ross and Cromarty.Their mascot due to their affiliation with the stag Crest of the Seaforth Highlanders is a stag named Rosco.
Previously coached by Ellis Simpson and had spells in the 1st division in the last 4 seasons albeit dropping down to division 2 each time.
Season 54
Looking more positive this coming season as our T11 is 22.4(4th in division) and our T17 is 19.1 (joint 6th in division) as our rebuild continues, Filip Tronet will Captain the side this season, we bring in DM Nohan Kenneth to boost up the side and expect to sign a couple of apprentices during the season,we hope that our frontline will continue to develop and bring in lots of goals and our aim is at least a play off berth.Early activity in the transfer market saw us bring in young DF Deion Saunders from ALB and GK Ross Laidlaw and FW Yan Dhanda went to COV for higher league football in exchange for experienced GK Kyle Gouley and experienced FW Mitch Megginson.
Early activity in the market saw us bring in experienced DF Ben Williamson and experienced UT Simon Murray and apprentice MF Josh Sims was promoted to the 1st team for his development. Well what an end to the season as we built an unbeaten 10 match run which sees us finish 4th and PROMOTION,we won 14,drew 9,lost 7 scoring 56 and conceding 30 amassing 51 points. We ended with a T11 of 24.9(joint 10th in division) and a T17 of 22.2(joint 9th in division) so we punched well above our weight. Most matches played with 29 was Megginson, most minutes with 2011 was Sanders,Top goalscorer with 15 was Megginson, bad boys with 16 d'ps were Tilson,Paton and Olaigbe and MOM's with 4 were Brown,Smith and Megginson. We went out in the 2nd round of the Cecil cup to Clyebank and the SESL cup in the knockout stages to Hearts.
We look forward to next season in division 2.
Season 55
Division 2 and we start the season with a T11 of 20.9(16th in division) and a T17 of 18.5(11th in division),so this season will be an upward struggle as we have an ageing side of 4.05,but will address this during the season, we bring in MA Kyle Turner to bolster our ranks and will add apprentices when we can,Mitch Megginson will Captain the side this season.
Early activity in the transfer market sees us bring experienced FW Denis Law from EDI,he will slot in straight away and lead the forward line.Activity in the transfer market as we brought in GK Ross Laidlaw, WG Justin Devenny from EDI and SW Connal Ewan and let go GK's Adam Brown and Kyle Gourley to BRE,due to this we signed apprentice GK Logan Ross as we felt we needed to build in this area but our season could fall apart with low S/L GK's but it has to be done.We went out of the Cecil cup in the 1st round to St Mirren and the SESL cup saw us lose all 5 matches ,this was mainly due to us training up our app GK Logan Ross, which we believed was our best option rather than risking him in the league. It was not to be as we ended 14th and relegated.
Season 56 updates
Now back in division 3,we have to start the rebuild again as this season will be another long uphill struggle, our starting T11 is 20.8 (14th in division) and our T17 is 17.4 (joint 12th in division)This season Denis Law will Captain the side.Early activity sees us bring in FW Eamon Brophy from St Mirren and SW Ryan Leak from Salford City.We have also brought in experienced FW Liam Boyce from Hearts,DM Ian McCall from Clydebank and Congo international DF Michee Efete from Grimsby Town to supplement the squad. We have also brought in apprentice DF Jack Baldwin from Bristol Rovers who will develop his skills for next season.
Season 56 Update - February 2024
I'm 61 living in West Felton a village just outside Oswestry in Shropshire with my other half Sharon,I have 2 daughters Alix and Beth.I have been a lifelong supporter of Bristol Rovers as I was born down there and went to watch them on a regular occasion and became a Gashead. My local team is TNS in the welsh league who I watch when I can, lovely passing football that has brought them quite a few titles in recent seasons, and they just won this season making it their 16th title.Just the welsh FA cup and the Scottish challenge cup final against Airdrie to come.
I'm currently working for Village bakery in Coedpoeth .In my spare time I love sea fishing ,coarse fishing ,walking, playing pool and having quality family time with our dog Callie.
I also manage TNS in division one of SFLSL and Philadelphia Union in division 1 of OASL and Roxborough Indians in the youth league, who have endured a poor season and been relegated to division 4,so all in all a bit of an addict when it comes to these leagues.
