Season 61 update February 2026
One of the favourites to get promoted in season 61.
Time will tell.
Season 61 Objectives:
1 - get settled back into SESL
2 - try to shape the team in my way, particularly spreading out the ages of the squad
3 - promotion
4 - cup run, say quarters of at least 1 cup
The Yo-Yo between divisions to continue?

Season 54 preview June 2023
Steve Gregory: COV lasted 1 season in Div 1 and now turn to experienced hands of Richard Burnett to lead COV back up.
Richard has been boss of Nairn previously for 13 seasons (S10-22), so lets hope its lucky for COV now.
COV strong all over the pitch, but a little light on squad players.
GK will need a refresh next season, and adding a SW and younger FW perhaps the short term aims.
Ive fair landed on my feet with this squad, instant contenders for the div2 title
so no pressure!

Season 61
Still enjoying retirement and travelling when time allows.
A lot of this year has been taken up with home improvements and dealing with builders.
The one that is for sure is that time just flies.
Hope to find some time to get some of the planned projects finished this year and get onto the next thing I have planned to do.
The new football season is mixed for Aston Villa and a long hard season looks to be in store.
17 seasons at sesl SM previously.

Season 60
Josh Fitzgerald head hunted from INV to COV September 2025.
Won a title few seasons ago with FC Blades in sister-league-SANC.
Got promoted 2 seasons in a row in SESL but not so well the last few seasons but re-build for a promotion was tricky?
Was introduced to the game by my Dad who manages at ANN
and play for Tikton Jaguars Sunday league under 18 (we won the league last season and are now in Div 1 so looking forward to that)
Real-life supporter of Sheffield Utd.
In my spare time I enjoy fishing and football and hanging out with mates/Xbox.
