Into The Valley
The real life club was initially formed as Dunfermline Football Club in 1874, when members of Dunfermline Cricket Club decided to establish a football section.
A dispute over club membership caused some members to split away from Dunfermline Cricket Club, which resulted in the creation of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club on 2 June 1885
Jock Stein - Dunfermline's finest period came during the sixties. After being appointed manager on 14 March 1960 and saving the club from relegation Jock Stein in his first managerial appointment – guided the Pars to their first major piece of silverware, winning the Cup in 1961 after just thirteen months in charge.
Big Jock Knew how to win cup even back then.
The years which followed saw Dunfermline consistently competing in europe, reaching the semi-finals of the 68-69 European Cup under George Farm. Although they lost by one goal on aggregate the to eventual winners, it remains the greatest achievement in Dunfermline's history. This followed Farm managing Dunfermline to their second Scottish Cup victory, winning the competition in 1968.
The club are currently in the scottish championship and owned by a fans group after a period in adminstration.

(Updated May 2025):
I live in Prestwick and work in Troon as a lifeguard.
I play for Kaisayr, the Ayr United supporters team, after winning the double last season with two cups still to be played,
and now with COVID forgotten about it allowed us to start playing
and going to Ayr United games under Scott Brown.
I used to manage Dallas and Texas Dutch Lions on OASL.

David King: Lives in Glasgow with girlfriend of five years.
SESL experience previously at HAM for 5 seasons (S19-23). PT (S50-51)
My name's David, obviously, I'm 51, look 31, act about 13.
I'm one of quite a number of managers here from the UK. I still don't know who's from where tbh, I really need to go check the other Bios of my manager colleagues.
I live in Glasgow with my GF who moved in with me late November 2020. She'd basically been staying here since March 20 when covid hit and we still hadn't shed any blood by September so we decided it was safe to live together.
We've had one year of normal life getting to know each other 2019 BC - Before Covid then the trial by fire of 15 months of covid lockdown.
Both of us looking forward to actually getting out and about and doing the family/social/pubs/clubs part of being a couple.
For those that know Glasgow and who know me, this means actually going to Rufus, Solid Rock and The Cathouse. <-Rock venues of variable quality.
If she survives those then she's a keeper. Not a goal keeper.

James White: 44 years old still married (somehow) with 3 boys (almost men now) stayed in Glasgow all my life.
Been playing this game for far too long but sese of loyalty (stupity) won't allow me to let go really just go through the motions these day hence my move away from Rangers hopefully to someone who can guide them to success.
If anyone has supported and wants to manage Dunfermline let me know and I'll happily team swap.
