    Team Needs

I'm just new at the game, so the team needs a more experienced manager ;). Now I only need to sign the greatest players at Brechin City.

    About Brechin City

    UPDATED SEASON 53

Real-life Brechin City FC were founded in 1906 through the merger of two local junior sides - Brechin Harp and Brechin Hearts - when a deputation from the Forfarshire Football Association met local sportsmen in the Temperance Hall in City Road, and after some persuasion, it was decided that a Senior club was advisable. The team was admitted to the Scottish league in 1923. Brechin currently play at Glebe Park, which has a capacity of 3,960 (1,519 seated) and is famous for the hedge that runs alongside one side of the pitch.

    Season 50 look-ahead
Inherited the shambles left by the Robin Dewar/Gavin Jack double act in season 46 with Div 3 finishes of 13th, 16th, 13th from them.

Season 47 was consolidation and a late flourish of positive results to end 9th in Div 3.
Season 48 was a 4th place finish and an unlikely promotion.
Season 49 was never about prizes, but staying in Div 2 was aim.  Sat in relegation zone all season, until some special trading in 5 players in the last month of season to avoid the drop and surprise all in sesl.
Season 50 - well we look ahead with hope in our hearts, and 2 big old GK as the rocks at the rearguard.  DF & MF OK, but FW needs one big SL25 additional, as 3 FW's are ready to retire for an apprentice.
Cup play for BRE shows little progress and out by last 32.   BRE want to go deep in one of the cups in season 50.

    Season 53

In the last season, we could only fight for a quiet position in the qualifying and try to get as far as possible in both cups.
this season the goal will not be very different.
And meanwhile go on with the team rejuvenation process.

    Coach's Bio: Fran Morillo

    February 2023  season 53 updated

I am called Fran Morillo, have 45 years old, am Spanish, live in village closely to Seville, so called El Viso del Alcor.
I am happily married, I have 2 children. This is the third time I have participated in SESL, before I was manager of Dunfermline Athletic and East Fife. With the Pars, I had a great career winning several leagues and cups.
I like much the Football, and the games of strategy ..... I am charmed with being with my friends and family.
I have taken part in several leagues of OLMEC, some Spanish leagues (CEFIPE, CFEM, LCFE,) ... and in others (FLM, MSLF, FLATNZ ...).
Currently these leagues do not exist.
I’m a fan of Real Betis Balompie...."Viva er Beti manque pierda", is the motto of my club.

These last few years I have been chairing a modest football club from my village, C.D Atletico Viso.
CD Atlético Viso (@AtleticoViso) / Twitter

We return to SESL hungry to win titles and cups.
