That's a cracker !! 🥳🥳👍👍
You are getting this wrong, Steve. I enjoy reading the stats breakdown - guessing these are probably more intense than the programmers intended. I don't have the time to sift through it all but I appreciate the time you lads spend putting it together.
Also I don't think anything will change in the programme except the occasional tweak on tactics. Just that I accept the game as it is - thoroughly enjoyable without reading too much into the workings.
Need to get back to clearing the cache on the computer (Edge -Windows 11) or I'll not get back in to do the reviews Saturday. 🤞
Whilst I appreciate all the stats thrown up (actually I don't) most seems to appear from managers who are expecting it all to run as per their perceived stats.
I have attended games where firstly the referee doesn't perform to his perceived ability and might flash cards to players the form book says he shouldn't. I know I did when I officiated - wasn't done deliberately but outside influences etc can affect your demeanour in a game.
Similarily Haaland is not going to be on the end of every cross - occasionally the ball will fall to a full back who couldn't score armed with cash and a bottle in a brothel. If every attack in SESL was to follow the path that shots ONLY went to main scorers what would be the point of playing?
This is a game and as such will have idiosyncrasies which actually makes it fun.
Generally the better teams WILL win titles and matches, for the rest of us we play hoping to get on the end of a surprise scoreline, all the time trying to better our team. OUR day will come..😳😳
However as there is no midweek matches this week, the recent Blogs and Journals should at least put money into a few teams accounts missing gate monies from not having a fixture..💰💰
You are correct of course -apologies - but you now realise the dilemma us silver surfers face - we have a vote but ....😳😳😳😳
And what makes you sure we Scots actually want independence? We were run by the SNP plus the Kingmakers (the Green Party, so named as they make the majority of us feel sick). Now the former have divested themselves of the latter, they now have to actually try to control the finances, police, cost of living etc they were voted in to do (not by me!). Likely the ruling party will be Labour at the next election as all others have shot themselves in the foot.
Me? I am a pensioner and any party won't take away our pension rise or free bus passes at a major risk to themselves. It has not changed much in that the majority here do not want to be separated..
Do I earn for this too? I love SESL..
John, congratulations on making the last 32 but remember the 5 teams in your section can all also qualify so need to play out their games, including the ones against you. There are quite a few who have also qualified but they (and I) can either push for the top spot or rest some lads so as to be ready for next Saturday's league games.
Remember the draw is in stone so you can check on your likely opponents in the last 32 depending upon where you finish in the group - see front page (or the rules).
And thanks for an opportunity for both of us to earn participation cash. 💰
