Clydebank FC was a senior team in the scottish divisions whose home ground was New Kilbowie Park just off Kilbowie Road (the main road north-south through the town). The owners sold the ground off with plans to rebuild a stadium in the north of the town near the Great Western Road, but that fell through. The owners then sold on the club which started a number of years of wandering around in various ground-sharing schemes.
The fans issues with the owner culminated in him selling up and the Airdrie United consortium buying the club, then relocating and changing the name.
The "reborn" Clydebank FC is now a fan-owned entity that plays in the Scottish Junior FA leagues. Its owned by a trust which fans pay an annual fee to be a member of. This trust then elects a board to run the football club, keeping the trust and the club as two entities each with their own independent management, though the trust funds the team from its membership fees and fund-raising activities. Junior football in scotland is not in any sense a team for youth per se, but rather a league junior to the senior leagues in terms of importance. Its a semi-professional league where players are paid expenses and some appearance fees for playing.
The old ground of the Bankies when we were a senior league team used to be here between Seaforth Road and Montrose Street Its a "retail park" of some sort now.
The ground where the current Bankies Junior team first began playing is in Duntocher just on the edge of Clydebank here. This is currently owned by the Drumchapel Amateurs, who allow the Bankies to ground share, and was once the home of Duntocher Hibernian.
They now ground share with local rivals Yoker Athletic

CB been 3 seasons in Div 1 and finished mid table each time
in Season 51, 52 & 53.
New Manager. New Challenge. Mike Hernandez the Argentinian tactician takes control with Bill Nichol head-hunted to CEL for his 2nd time as CEL manager.
Mike has a wealth of experience and enjoyed time at a few SESL clubs previously, including TEN seasons at DEV in Sesl.
