Season 56: Time to climb. Good GK, Backline and 4/5 good midfield to front options. Need a back-up GK and some squad fillers.

CLUB HISTORY: 

Partick Thistle Football Club are a professional football club from Glasgow, Scotland. Despite their name, the club are based at Firhill Stadium in the Maryhill area of the city, and have not played in Partick since 1908. The club have been members of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) since its formation in 2013. In the 2020–21 season, Thistle won Scottish League One, the third tier of the SPFL structure, and returned to the Scottish Championship, having been relegated from there in 2019–20.

Since 1936, Thistle have played in their distinctive red-and-yellow jerseys of varying designs, with hoops, stripes and predominantly yellow tops with red trims having been used, although in 2009 a centenary kit was launched in the original navy-blue style to commemorate 100 years at Firhill.[2] Since 1908 the club have won the Scottish Second Division (third tier, now Scottish League One) twice and the Scottish First Division (second tier, now the Scottish Championship) six times, most recently in 2013. Thistle have won the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup in 1921 and 1971 respectively.

SEASON 56: Well oh well. Another relegation. Bottom of the league. Dreadful season. Only way is up from here. Big potential in squad and some pre-season wheeling and dealing going on to help rebuild the Jags and start the climb back up the divisions. Sneddon (GK) and Diack (FW) have bright futures at Jags, with a fairly soild defensive platform of Morris, Stanway, Archibald and Williams with striking options from Sutton and Fu Ji. Depth isn't the best. Another season of tough fitness decisions. 

SEASON 55: Another playoff.....relegation this time round. Time to rrebuild. Focus on youth and resources. Potenital mid-table obsecurity this season. Oldies for youth with be utilised. Starting at the back with youth prospects Sneddon (GK), and Morris, Williams and Archibald (All DFs). Add Stanway (DF) and Owens (MF) and we have good foundations (when all trained). Midfield play maker Scott Tiffoney (3/29) and striker Fu Ji (3/28) will be key to keeping PT away from relegation. 

SEASON 54: Remained in the top flight via play-off. Currently 2nd bottom T-11 and 3rd bottom T-17. Should be a fun season. Good resources. No cash left after pre-season orders. Long season ahead. Need to earn cash. Be more active. Squad wise meh. Coach the youth, Owens (MF) and Stanway (DF), coach Fu Ji (FW) and Tiffoney (MF) and finally coach Lawless (DF) and Lambie (MF). Enter auctions and try pick up some additional youth or trade away TP for cash and/or CPs. and training Martin (GK) and Scott (FW)

SEASON 53: Secured promotion..just. Tried to balance cup runs with league games and ultimately almost fell short on all fronts. a tremendous last quarter, dropping only 2 points ensured PT return to top flight football. Aging, but skillful squad with the early part of season about securing a safe spot mid table before turning to youth developement. Midfield looking a little weak so getting the ball to the likes of McKenna, Scott and Gusto could be an issue. Priority is remaining in the top flight. 

SEASON 52: All change at PT with much travelled manager Legowski taking charge of the Glasgow side. Partick Thistle aiming to return to the top division where their fanbase believe they belong. Strong squad, good resources and some money left for early season auctions and trades. Legowski has a history of winning promotions.....and being relegated. 

With Martin in goals, surrounded by quality defensive cover in Holt and Dxion gives PT a strong platform. Legowski likes fluid, attacking football and PT have quality in the attacking third, with the likes of Docherty, Murray and Geggan supplying the chances for Charley, Gusto and McKenna. Youth prospects include Lawless, Lambie and Dowds. A key priority is likeyl to be a back up and/or youth GK.

Been sliding down the league places for 6 seasons now, so rot stops now. 
Need be back in Div 1 within next 3 seasons.

OK, this may not actually happen.

I'm new to this game, team, style.  So it might take a wee while to get the hang of stuff.

Well, we have a pretty well rounded team. Decent resources. Not enough cash.
And one keeper.
That's an area of concern so I expect we'll be bringing in an apprentice there at some point.
Or perhaps something from the auctions.
Need to wait and see how they work.

Season 56: Not much to say- very much status quo for the Skinner-Legowski family. Work good, on both fronts. Fitness, health and wellbeing all good. Kids brill. Wife smashing her career and looking after us all. All good. 

Season 55: No real update personally. Job going really well. Balancing work (both care and fire service), family time and free time. Family all doing well. N continues to train hard and be focused with his swimming. FM2024 is amazing!!

Season 54: New job!! Head of Care for an independent school for children and young people with significant learning and health needs. Still enrolled with SFRS though recent operation will limit my availability. Family all well. Still playing Champ Man/FM2023. Hoping to keep playing 7s once recovered. All good though. 

Season 53: Nothing has really changed, wife has secured a promoted post which I'm super proud of. Adds a little more planning and stress to ensure kids are looked after (and SESL line-ups are in) however good teamwork helps. On the 'new year, new me' phase of 2023 with regular spinfit classes in a bid to shift some of this covid gained weight. Ongoing love for Champ Man/FM 2023 continues.

Season 52: Shock appointed as Legowski is named the new PT manager. Legowski continues to work full time within children's residential and provide vital emergency services commitment as a retained firefighter is his town of Strathaven.  II am married, with 4 children, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Continue my addiciton with Football Manager (Champ Man to us oldies) and have played it since the original domark version in 1992. Try to play a little football, mainly 7s with swimming and spin classes when family/work time allows.
