I said in the post-match comments that we were very lucky against Aberdeen but on looking at some numbers I decided it wasn't the extreme luck that Eduard is suffering from recently.

Expected chances were 8.91 to 3.33 and actual chances 7 to 4. I wouldn't be surprised if both were in the 68% range. From the GKs SLs and players' average ShootingSL it works out at about 1.5 goals each. So 2-2 is a good result for RNG. Run the match a million times and there would be a lot of 1-1 and 2-2 draws and a lot of 2-1 with Aberseen getting a few more wins than us.

The game against Edinburgh was pretty much to plan with Bill in rebuild mode as us playing T11. Th3 injuries were very annoying however - I'll leave it to others to work out the chances of getting two injuries to top players in consecutive minutes. Fraser's wasn't too bad only costing him 1 EL I think but Offord's was a -8 and wasted all that EL saving in the SESL Cup.

We stay in 8th, closer to 3rd/4th and further away from 11th so going well.

We make it into the knockout stages after playing two games to win and three stalling. We were lucky in the final game as I miscalculated SL somewhere and played just 48% and lost 5-0.

A quick check and it's possibly due to the injury as Armstrong was going to replaced by Dean who came on for Howie. Graham was supposed to come on for Howie later in the game.

T11 now has an average EL of just under 9, which is very important with 4 league games to come.

A nice 2-0 win over Montrose means we've almost qualified for the knockout stages of the SESL Cup. For once we didn't play Ball Control but I was fairly confident our 60 minutes normal would be enough. And who needs wingers in the squad anyway.

Montrose and Hamilton can overtake us though if Montrose are to qualify they need to beat Hamilton and Dunfermline (not impossible) and possibly end up in a 3 or 4 way tie on 6 points for 3rd and 4th.

Hamilton have a better chance to beat us as we have low EL and can't compete in both our last two games and it might only need a loss at Hamilton in the last game on Wednesday for us to be knocked out.
