The Bairns had an excellent weekend and moved into fifth position after taking maximum points. We started at home against Kilmarnock and the game went to plan with a three nil victory thanks to a McTominay brace and a Ferguson goal. The second match was at home against playoff rivals Airdrieonians FC. We had the better of the game which was decided early on when McTominay scored on 6 minutes. There was a downside with our keeper Brown being sent off for dangerous play. He will now miss the last two matches. We probably need another three points to confirm our playoff berth.

Falkirk went into their SESL quarter final against Annan Athletic as favourites but we just couldn't beat their man of the match keeper Nortey. Then it went to penalties and we ended up losing four two. An awful way to go out but congrats to Daniel and good luck in the semifinals. So yesterday it was back to league action. A solid start, a two nil home victory over Nairn County with goals from Walker and McTominay. We then traveled to play second placed Raith Rovers. We got overrun and ended up losing six one but it could have been any score. Jordan scored our consolation goal. So with four games remaining we sit seventh just outside the playoffs but we do have three of those games at home.
