My guess Willy is that we both went for the same player, Buddy, I originally offered 201K. Then Mark countered with the other player, Ruddy, for the price you offered and he had already accepted. So all fair, we both paid the same.
It frees up my 5/12 Winger for retirement and a new apprentice contribution. Unless someone wants him for 160-180K?

I stress I didn't make the offer! Conventional wisdom suggests a 4/25 or 26 would be the standard pitch. 3 levels for each year of age difference. Maybe a 3/23, the age down.
1/17s are quite difficult to shift in my experience. If training them is unappealing, then others may also think so. A 4/26 is a decent player and without coaching/training is a better player than the 1/17 all season, and the same level for half of nexts. Buying a 1/17 is commitment to 10TPs and 10 training slots at not much improvement to the squad, at least this season. Still anything less than 4/25 without cash balance is definitely on the unbalanced side.

Disappointingly Steve didn't write the rest of the blog to echo The Joker. ;-)
I'm tinkerer, not a coder
I'm an Olmec player
I get my CPing on the run
Anyway while tinkering if we could get T= or even T<= that would be great. A common instruction is G>=2, T >=75 (or 60) then sub off Star Striker for Bench Warmer. But if the goal condition is met after the time selected then an EL point is lost for Star and Sub. It would be great if the "equals" were available.
