Answered my own question
The record is 6 and shared by 12 players as per the hall of fame. I should remember this as two of them turned our for Raith.
Kilmarnock and Celtic have had 4 of these 12 appear for them.
Mark Doherrty (DUU,DFA,FOR,KIL,EF,STI) had the least number of appearances for the 6 teams, just 154 career appearances
