There hasn't been much to shout about around Firhill of late with the only notable successes coming way back in season 37 and season 34 with wins in the CECIL Cup and SESL Cup respectively. A certain Graeme Scott was the manager back then.

Now, it has been said that it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll and same is true of SESL. With 48 teams all vying for glory only a few will rise to claim the few prizes on offer each season. Winning one in any given season is an achievement and two is almost unheard of. Winning both Cups and Division 1 is impossible. Or, was thought to be....

I am not suggesting that PT will be up there with the big guns any time soon but my aim is simple. Make the team as good as possible and see what happens. I certainly do not expect too much this season but in two or three seasons, who knows.
