Season 45: August 2023
Pre season draft went OK. 2 out of 3 worth TP'ing so fair enough.
SW & WG added in August 2024.
The FW draftee can leave for peanuts. (he just has to MT, for only 111k on 27/8/24)
GD are a little light up front with only 2 playable FW's. In defence is OK, while the midfield is aging but two solid age 2's will see bulk of CP in season 45.
GK area finally sorted out.
WG and Early Cross not something I have dabbled much with, but I may try that later in season, and certainly next season now Trossard is up to speed.
ONE CUP FINAL IN OUR HISTORY !!
season 45 needs to see some progress in both cups. Last 8 in one cup the absolute minimum.
Dowson Cup Runnerup in season 42 gives us hope.
SFLSL cup last 4 in season 44 was ok.
5 league titles in Div 1 so no complants about that.
(season 31 stats never updated, so everyone could claim they won in season 31!!)
Trophy Cabinet
SFLSL-1 Winner: 5 (28 29 31 32 33

Season 42: May 2023
Only won 13 of the 26 league games in season 41, so languished down in 6th place in the table at end of S41.
Drafted to start season 42 a 0/10 SW, 0/8 WG & 1/13 FW so two out of 3 aint bad.
Last 8 in the cups last 3 seasons, but time to push on and try win silverware in season 42.
Re-started as an expansion team in season 34 after 5 league titles out of 6 between S28-S33.
Excuses stop now, and time to win something again.

May 2022:
ORA win div 1 on goal difference, with FCB and then GD next on table with all 3 teams on 66 points.

Season 37: March 2021
9th place finish in season 36 is nothing to be proud of.
Had won Div 2 in season 35 so had hoped to kick on further last season, but alas,
Relegated at end of season 34 ofcourse was not a huge surprise given roster was reset to an expansion team start to avoid a same team dominating the league which is no good for morale or interest in a game from other managers.
Draft in Feb 2021 went OK, and squad shaping up nicely.
Got 2 big GK's of which 1 will be CP'ed in season 37.
Got 2 big WG's and 2 big FW's too, plus decent MF and DF options.
A little low on numbers up front, but 3 big age MA's will continue to be the a goal threat i fancy.
Onwards and upwards. Hopefully.

Season 34: October 2019
Starting squad from scratch as an expansion team.
Lets see how this season pans out then.
Careful planning of what games to go my lowly Top11 with, and which games to Stall.

Season 27 - March 2017
Dragons back in Division 1 after a 3 year abscence.
Winning Div 2 with 71 league points in season 26 was encouraging.
Avoiding relegation the plan for season 37, and then continuing progress made in the Cups last season:
- SFLSL Cup runners up season 26
- McBride Cup finished 3rd season 26

Updated Season 23.
The Golden Dragon is a team that has played in a few on line games, not only football.
The team joined SFLSL eight seasons ago (season 15) , I felt it was a successful start, being a new club, although we did not get promoted to division 1 we finished in the play offs and had a very good SFLSL cup run getting knock out in the Simi's
In our second season (season 16) the league was the focus as we pushed for division 1 football we finished runners up and got promoted but that success was short lived as were relegated the next season.
The Golden Dragons have played four season in division 1 and four season in division 2. Season 23 will be our 5th season playing division 1 football and we know it’s going to be a challenging season first our current team is below average for the division and the pressure is on the coach as he has never finished in the top half of division 1 ever.
We had a really good draft picking up young GK Hooper who if trained fully will be an all star, we also signed UT Robo who will be a solid play for us in years to come, we currently have 6 youngster on the roster but only have the resources to train up 5 so new SW Calleja will have to do alot of training on his own.
Updated: Season 45: August 2024
8 years in Sanc and I getting hang of this hidden skill level now and finding it a fun challenge.
it's now season 45 and last won anything in season 35, so I need get my finger out and lift a trophy again soon.
Last 4 in SFLSL cup in season 44 the only glimmer of hope. Hoping to push on upwards in season 45.
Still attend a handful of Arsenal games each season.
Oddly easier to get tickets for away games than home matches, so we been to most of the English premier league grounds mainly in north half of England.

August 2023
Covid restrictions lifted but still working from home half the week. Have enjoyed the peace of working at home and not having to listen to the office gossip and hearing all about peoples hobbies and grand-kids that I couldn't give a toss about!
Still road race running. Ran the London Marathon again and broke the 5 hour barrier so was chuffed with that.
Sept 2023 saw me run in Newcastle at the biggest half marathon in the world called the Great North Run with 60,000 others.

Updated: January 2019
Taking up running, and trying to cut out the junk food, has eaten in to my free time for online gaming, but I like the innovation and uniqueness of SFLSL.
April 2019 sees me running the London Marathon for an autism charity.
I say running - it may be more of a plod - but I'll get round the 26 miles and I have a training plan and I'm adding 1 mile extra each week to my Sunday slow long runs.
So far so good. Throw a few pennies on my fundraising page if anyone actually reads these bio's!:

Mark steps in to help co-Commish SFLSL after tracking Colin down on 26-March-16 as he flees to Portugal for a well-earned break.
Avoiding wooden spoon last place the aim for Golden Dragons this season.

Peter Babcock: - busy with work in 2016
Well I was born in Manchester (Yes i'm a United fan) but moved to South Africa when i was 8 and then almost three years ago I moved with my family to the US, I’m 40 and married with 4 children. I'm a huge football fan and have played most of my life.
I have been playing online football for donkey years. I play in other leagues and have had some success with the teams i have managed, last season we won our first SFLSL title winning division two but I know I need to dedicate more time to SFLSL if I’m to any success.
