SEASON 49 NOT SO MAJOR Update
I swear, supporting BIG is Beautiful should come with a health warning. Last season we strutted in with hopes the size of Mechagodzilla… and walked out with results the size of a damp sock. “10th place in Division 2!” they say, like it’s an achievement. Congratulations, lads — you’ve officially upgraded from catastrophic failure to mild embarrassment. Truly inspirational.
And those cup runs? Don’t get me started. Two deep runs, both ending in “unlucky defeats.” Unlucky? Please. At this point “unlucky” is just our brand. We lose unluckily the way fish swim or birds fly — it’s instinct. It’s tradition. It’s BIB heritage.
Meanwhile Mechagodzilla is still out there stomping around like a malfunctioning forklift, and half the squad looks like they’re seeing a football for the first time. But sure — Season 49 is the year we take “bigger steps.” Right. I’ll believe it when I see a pass that travels more than five meters without causing a small natural disaster.
Still, here I am. Still watching. Still hoping. Still suffering.
SEASON 48 REALLY VERY MAJOR Update!!!
To quote the previous management:
We think this team has some potential. It's up to the players to show they really can.
When I took over, BIB had ZERO points, 'nuff said.
BIB's not so impressive past: ONE championship and TWO cup wins in FOURTY-SEVEN seasons!?
Time for SOME changes ...
New manager, new home, new goals ...
The BIB franchise has moved: from rainy Netherlands to the sunny beaches of Micronesia, from the teeny-tiny Flevo Stadium to the aptly named Estadio Mucho Más Monumental.
And not only the stadium is indeed monumental, our new players are, too!
Our squad is going to be THE spot for all weight and size challenged Messi wannabes - of reptilian, human or whatever origin.
Actually, we are very sure that even Lionel would flee trembling when 400ft sized Mechagodzilla enters the pitch!
We're sure it's only a question of time until our squad will take over the world. Quite likely BIB will even win some trophies even sooner.
BIB: home of the megafauna champions (not yet).
SEASON 46 Update (included for historical reference)
A fresh new start of the season. Last year we managed to keep out of the play offs and ended with 2 games winning in the last session. Hopefully we can continue this strike. Some new young talents were selected to join us. Tommy Olsson is a defender/midfielder that has a great potential. The same for our winger Tieme Bikeros and Pjotr Possie who can play any position in the field. Together with the last season youngsters they will be the future of our team and we expect this year to be better than last year. With some veterans like Jose Claramunt and Sjaak de Ridder we think this team has some potential. It's up to the players to show they really can.

Updated Season 49
The no longer new management:
still: too old, too heavy, too often not smart enough - quite confident nonetheless: tbd.
Not so BIG yet!
