Season 48 Update:
WBB are under new management after 6 straight seasons in division 2. Can new management have an effect and return the club to the top tier? It will be a tough ask in the season or two to come, but a youth rebuild could do the trick. Coming into season 48, WBB are 14th in T-11, 18th in T-17, but about dead last in resources. The hope is that being careful with our finances this season will help ensure WBB are prepared for the seasons ahead. We will need to save cash, train up youth, and ensure that we are well set up to win next season and the one after that, even if that means this season is a bit painful.
We have to assume that there will be a learning curve, as well. So far, so, good, however, as our 3 draft picks have set up our attack for the coming seasons. We can't complain about how they've scouted, either, as it seems we've beaten the average there. Let's just hope that the 3 TP spent to redraft our blind draft player isn't a mistake - at least his maxSL seems to have improved with the redraft.
Glad we get this season to get our feet under us! Perhaps we can pencil in season 49 as our first push at promotion, assuming all goes well this season.

Season 48 Update:
New manager Andrew Foss-Grant taking over at WBB. Andrew has many seasons of experience over in SESL and OASL, but has played only about a season of SFLSL back around 14 years back. Hopefully this time the position sticks and WBB have some stability in the seasons to come. I had originally been introduced to the game from SESL and OASL manager Bryce K.
Coming in, WBB are in somewhat rough shape. Our team SL is ok, as we are middling in t11 and t17, but our finances and resources available are fairly poor. A rebuild will be in the works.
Other than the olmec games, I find myself fairly busy between work and family duties. When I have some time, you can find me watching either the local club or catching some English premier league matches on TV. I expect it to be a fairly disappointing season from all the clubs I support, but hopefully there are some entertaining moments here and there. In Scotland, I have taken to following Motherwell some after my years of managing the club over in SESL. It has been a much better start to the season this year, so perhaps the future is looking pretty good for the Well.
