Season 43
Well last season was nothing to shout about so this season can only be better and with nothing in either cup the team do not have a lot to live upto. Our goal for this season is to try and at least get into the play offs. The team spent a lot of cash on CP's and TP's to try and improve the playing squad. But at the same time we need to encourage the younger players in the squad.
Another season has come and gone and Highland Rangers have once again failed to make any progress in terms of league placing or cup run. This season was only just a slight improvement on the previous year and fans must be wondering how long the Chairman will stick with a manager who has taken the club no where.
Once again the management have lowered the average age of the team with loads of money which been spent on CPs and TPS to train up the new batch of players. We need to balance the need that increase player skills and winning matches. There is no point getting a bad start in the league whilst increasing skills , but then be to far behind the promotion race. So fans can only hope that this season is the one that Rangers live up to there potential.
I work as a Project Manager for a Utility Company and have done for 39 years now. I am looking to retire early next year and since deciding this the year is flying past.
Aston Villa managed to get into Europe last year but the group stages of that have been a little more difficult than expected. We have made a good start in the league but need to continue this good form. The manager seems to have a golden touch and we can only hope that we can keep moving forward.
I hope with retirement in theere will be more time to spent gaming but if you think the older you get the more time you have to spend on your hobbies. I am sure that there will be a little more time to spend on my hobbies.
I am also a keen war gamer and I still have plenty of projects that by now I would hope to have completed by now. But as we all know we never get everything we want to do done.
