Season 50
Well another season has come and gone and still Highland love in the bottom half of the second. They fail to perform last season and thought they have a few younger players this year the squad still lacks any real star players. They will need to be at there best if they are going to do any better this year. They may have to dip ther toe into the action to try and bring in some higher rated players to help the squad at least put up a better showing than last year.
SEason 49
Last season was a better season for the team as the mannered to get there highest league finish ever with a great 5th just outside the promotion playoffs.
They only lost out in the last couple of games of the season and the manager was happy with the team overall but a little disappointed that they fell off at the end of the campaign. The challenge for the team is to follow up last season improvement and bring them into the new season. The team overall is inn a good position to don this as it is a young squad with plenty of room to push on this season.
Season 48
Well last season was nothing to shout about so this season can only be better and with nothing in either cup the team do not have a lot to live upto. Our goal for this season is to try and at least get into the play offs. The team has a lot of younger players this year and will need to work hard to train all these players to reach there potential.
The one thing it has done is reduce the age of the squad and will hopefully put in place the required building blocks to allow the club to move forward.
Born 1967 so have never seen the England men's team win any major competition. At least Aston Villa won some silverware last season. Not sure how this season will go with half the team leaving which I think was always going to happen. Thought they have a teams they have moved onto do not seem to be doing that well at present. All we can hope is that the new players will fit in and we can be competitive. Can not believe next year i will be 60 were do the years go. Still trying to keep active and the weight of as retired life involves loads of coffe drinking and cake eating
