    About Orgullo Atletico

    Season 44 update

Season 43 With a young squad full of stars, ORA was not able to compete for the title. The 3rd position had to be fought for, and the cups were quiete disappointing. The lack of a star GK was too much to deal with.

Present season: The squad is promising, and there are plenty of resources. But the problem is the same than last season: the lack of a star goalkeeper is a problem to be solved trough the transfermarkt. With the 5th best top11 and 4th best top17, the resources should allow us to have a good start. Hopefully the cup draw gives us a decent starting group to develope the players before the league starts.

    ORA's DREAM TEAM (Seasons 1-42)
    First team
GK Andris Vanins 111 games played, receaving 158 goals. A good player who came during hard times for ORA
DF A.Faye The former captain was a rock during his 5 seasons at ORA. Finished his career being the 3rd player of the team in the games played rank.
DF Albert Ferrer 12 MOMs and 13 goals in 132 games (10th). Won a league and 3 cups with the team, leading the defense.
DF Jorge Griffa Lived the golden years of ORA and contributing to 8 trophies and being the most capped player. Probably the best defender of the history of the team. The italo-argentinian was the leader of the "Italian ORA": Jianni Fracattelli, A Nocerino, Cristian Ansaldi, Jorge Griffa and Malpensa.
SD Rafael Alkorta 1 league and 2 cups won this versatile defender, who left the team eing the 5th most capped player with more than 150 games.
MA Luis Enrique The attacking midfield player contributed to  2 leagues and 2 cups with the team, scoring 39 goals and entering the top 10 of ORA apparitions.
MF Ramiro Leandro 108 games during 6 seasons played this devoted player. Great scoring for a MF with 30 goals during his career. He was also the most aggressive player of the team during its history.
WG A Nocerino Since season 19 to 23, Nocerino won 2 leagues, a SOS Cup, and 5 more cups with ORA. A talented WG that left the team being the 3rd most capped player and 6th goalscorer.
WG Bokota Called to be the star when signed from RUR, this skilled winger is entered the top 5 scorers of the team's history in less than 2 seasons. The man who drived the team from 2nd division to the league-cup-SOS win. Finished season 20 as the most capped plater and 2nd top goalscorer.
FW Cyril Kis Live legend of ORA. Came to make forget Green Goblin and became the top goalscorer of the history. Retired as the 5th goalscorer and the 8th most MVP player of the story of SFLSL.
FW Jianni Fracattelli Second top goalscorer, golden boot of season 23, and the man behind the first ORA treble. The italian failed to impress during his first season, but then did two outstanding seasons for the team.
    Subs
Sub GK Vince Gallagher 13 MOMs during only 2 seasons at ORA, getting the Golden Globes and Man of the Year awards during his first season, and helping to get a cup during the second. A wall that gave nightmares to many league FWs.
Sub DF Andoni Goikoetxea Lived the transformation from a middle table 2nd division team to a title winner. 4 seasons being an important part of the defense and tieing in the most capped player position.
Sub DM Cristian Ansaldi A secure player both as DF and MF. Have won 2 leagues and 5 cups with ORA and is in his way to become the most capped player of its history.
Sub WG Vicente del Bosque Won 2 leagues with ORA in his early years. His goals on the prime time helped while a massive rebuilding of the squad was done.
Sub FW W Paulista The brazilian came to make forget Cyril Kis, and was the man of the season when ORA won its first titles (league, cup and SOS). Won 2 more cups with the team, and became the 2nd top goalscorer of the team's history.

    Updated March 2023

During these months I passed trough a short but really toxic relationship that led me to therapy. My workplace is aiming to close. Sports are out whil I wait surgery for an hernia. I keep DJing in my life club, but it could change soon due  change of style.

So not a great season for me. Hopefully next season I have more positive things to say! :D
