No idea what happened. Best T11 and 2nd best T17 and we didn't even came close to getting promoted. Can we blame it on experience, or the lack of it given that we had a very young team? Can we blame the manager for not being able to glue this team together? Or should we blame the board of directors who decided to cash in on a few key players? You tell me, because I just don't know.

Expectations:
We don't have any. That might sound a bit silly, but really...we don't. Last couple of seasons it always ended up being completely different, so this year we start without having any expectations or whatsoever. No pressure, no goals, just having fun. See where that is gonna take us :)
The backend of the team is what looks most solid, solid GK, decent backup, strong defenders, some up and coming youngsters and a duo of versitile players that can roam the pitch if needed. Midfield section looks dramatic, aging harder then the rest. Infonetic should have one more solid season in him and hopefully Mono will grow under his wing. Forwards. What happened to our forwards? Experience is what they do have, so hopefully they can make a difference by outsmarting opposing defenders....but there's definitely some intervention needed.
Season 45 update
Last update I was rambling about my club Ajax, how terrible it all was but that there was light at the end of the tunnel. Well... the light might still be there, but I'm not seeing it right now. Although there's a lot more peace and quiet at directors level now, the first team is still very much below par. Way below. New headcoach Farioli seems like a football maniac (the ten Hag / Slot type) but it worries me that I don't understand his thinking.
This weekend we played against a newly promoted team and we lost 2 to 1. When the coach was asked if he would make changes if he could go back 90 minutes and start over he said he would not, as he's still convinced he played his best team today. I tried my best to see through his eyes, but I just can't. Six of the best players on the squad were benched. 6! That's more then half the team. I mean...what the flying F***. How can you strongly believe you fielded the best team for the day if you leave 6 of your T11 on the bench? Am I getting too old to understand modern day (data driven) football?
As for the rest, all's fine! ;)
