Season 46 update
Not much to review on to be honest. Very moderate and boring season in which we finished where we started, mid-table. No chance in the cups, no big tranfers, no awards. Nothing. The entire club felt pretty uninspired. So, most of our precious time was invested in rebranding the Bristol UcS and moving our homegrounds a bit closer to home. AFC Ajax Legends is born, the old stadium 'De Meer' has been renovated and all the music artist / amateur football players have been let go and replaced by Ajax Legends. Let's hope this breaths some life into the franchise :)

Expectations:
As a newly founded club we need to be realistic. On the other hand, we are Ajax. So we will aim for the div.2 title this season, but promotion is the ultimate goal here. The team is pretty balanced, especially with the two UT players. Their positions will be determined by auction buys or incoming transfers. Based on our competition we think that one or two incoming players will put us ahead and maybe even in pole position for the title. Our T11 is already on point, T17 and TSL could do with a minor improvement. Our biggest worry is training up a youngster goalie. That could cost us some points along the way. The age 0 striker in combination with no star player at front is the first thing we will need to look at though. All in all, an exciting season ahead!
Season 46 update
Barely a month ago I was editing the bio on my SESL teampage claiminng that Ajax is doing better with a very steady defence. And than they travelled to Latvia to play Riga in the Euro League. Abysmal display on a pitch that looked more like a beach against a team that had NEVER won in the EL. Ofcourse, because of a weird tactical decision (putting a nr#10 as right back) the team started to lose grip on the match, terrible pass that became an assist to the opponent. And yes, the first even win in the EL for Riga was against Ajax. This all right after headcoach Farioli went to Rome for an job interview to take over at AS Roma in the summer, following the talented right back Devayne Rensch who just moved to Rome.
Still no incoming transfer, except for Joeri Regeer (an own youth player who was stationed at FC Twente for a while). Ajax needs a left winger and a creative midfielder. And they need it now... still nothing on the horizon though. Couple days until the market closes, so anything can happen still.
