Season 47 update
Review: What a season we had. These veterans (by name only) still know how to play! Been more then 10 seasons since we last added silverware to the cabinet. Incredibly exciting runin of the season, finishing 2nd on GD just after The New Saints who saw their change and stole the title while Copernicus Town and Ajax Legends were fighting over it. In the cups we were not able to play much of a role. Both cups we went out in the first round.

Expectations:
Let's be honest, promotion is nice, but we have absolutely nothing to hope for in the premier league of Sanc. I don't believe in miracles, so I'm 99% certain we will immediately go down again at the end of this season. No hopes for a cup run either. It's weird, usually teams start a rebuild after the relegated, not right after a promotion. But in our case, I don't see any other option. We have a bit of a youth influx, so hopefully we can hit the ground running....next season. As for this one, keep our heads down, play the games, cause a few upsets and build towards the next one!
Season 47 update
My club finally back in the big Champions League again, how we missed the CL Hymne :) Not full of hopes or anything, just hoping for a few spectacular games and exciting Tuesday and Wednesday evenings! Very glad to see Heitinga return to the club bringing back some much needed Ajax spirit back into the club. Loads of transfer rumours obviously. Hendo, Hato, Taylor, Brobbey...will they stay for one more season? Are we finally able to offload some of those below par Mislintat signings like Akpom, Forbs and Medic? Tadic and Blind back to Amsterdam? 10 more weeks and we'll know how the squad will look like, but one thing is certain, youth will thrive again now Farioli is gone!
