Season 27
Season 26 was a reality check for all at D.C. United after gaining promotion in season 25, the team were unable to produce or maintain any sort of form. Therefore the team were relegated back down to the second division after only one season in the top league. The manager will now have to pick the teams spirts up before the start of the new season. The team will hope they are in a good position to bounce straight back up at the first attempt, but there are some good teams in the lower division and it is not a given that they will be in the promotion places at the end of the season.
There is a good crop of younger players at the club and with the manager say these players are the future of the team and will be the main focus of the training staff the fans should not be to down haerted. The main thing is to get the season of to a good start.

Season 27
I am a Project Manager for a utility company and have always enjoyed playing Football Management games. I started of way back playing by mail and having to wait a couple of weeks sometimes to see how your team had got on. Now we know within minutes of the deadline how bad things have gone.
I am an Aston Villa fan and was reasonable happy with last season outcome after just surviving on the last day of the season the previous year to end up mid table show improvement. The main concern is whoe we relied so much on Jack Grealish and the team just do not preform to the same level when he is not there as was shown when he missed a large pa ry of the end of the season and Villa dropped from being in the race for a European place. We need to learn to play without him as I can see him moving on this summer. Dean Smith must be thinking the same as his first purchase of the close season is a midfielder for a club record. The good things to come out of last year are players like Ollie Watkins and John McGinn who seem to be improving and will be only better in the up coming season.
