Located in southeastern Portland, the Mount Tabor neighborhood is named after the volcanic cinder cone located smack-dab in the middle of it. Which is then named after Mt. Tabor in Israel.
Mount Tabor Soccer Club provides affordable recreational soccer to hundreds of kids, grades K - 8, in Southeast Portland. All youth are eligible to play. They are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization. Theirr goal is to enhance the lives of families in our area, strengthen our community, and further the game of soccer
MTSC was named the youth team for the Portland Timbers after years of success as a youth soccer club. The squad hopes to become a perennial powerhouse in the youth leagues, feeding the strongest players possible up to the Timbers.
