Youth Squad for Seattle Sounders FC
Season 27:
Season 26 ended with quite some excitement for NSS fans. A run of 8 wins from 10 saw NSS make, and then win, the 4th placed playoff match to achieve promotion to the 3rd division. Every point ended up mattering, as a final day draw was the mininum needed to keep in 4th. A small success in the youth cup was advancing out of the group stage with a couple wins before getting stomped by the eventual champions. Our coming season in Div. 3 will be a success if we comfortably avoid relegation back!
Season 26:
Andy Foss-Grant joins the club midway through the season with ambitions to improve on a troubled recent history for the youth squad. At the time of takeover the squad was 3rd from the bottom in the lowest league with a record of 2-4-3. In fact, the North Sound Seawolves have only had 2 winning seasons in their entire 12 season history. The good news is that youth squads can turn over quite rapidly, and manager Foss-Grant hopes to have the boys back into winning ways within a season or two. "He was hired for his record with the youth squads. He led Mt Tabor to 5th, 2nd, and 2nd in his three seasons previous in the league. We hope he will eventually surpass that here." -SSFC/NSS ownership
