Los Angeles FC have had a reasonably successful first half to their season with six wins, four draws and two losses. That leaves us sitting third in the Division 2 table, but only two points behind the leaders. Every chance of promotion, the divisional title still within reach.
We are happy with the makeup of the squad. We have introduced two wingers this season, one through a transfer deal, the other an auction buy, and with a third coming up through our academy next season, we will be able to play in our preferred style. Training is progressing well, and the fitness of the squad, though not ideal, is holding up pretty well.
Our junior team, Orange County, are lying fifth in Divition 3 with four wins, three draws and five losses. We’re holding our own, which is all we really ask from our youth team, and we’re training up three promising youngsters who will move across to LAFC in the close season.
I’m enjoying being back at OASL!
