To get more cash, being successful first helps. Higher morale from wins means more gate receipts. Longer cup run means more gate receipts and extra TP and CP slot per match (might be worth 2 x 25k per extra match if extra slots you would have paid for in other matches)
To get successful? Load SL. No matter the player age. STE appear to have used older high SL players and was rewarded with a league title two seasons ago. More managers could try that to compete.
